The 'Meadow' provides specialist management training facilities in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Judges commended the scheme, stating: 'The successful manipulation of scale and proportioning, elevational composition, and selection of materials have created a building that is timelessly elegant and relates well to its rural context.' ADP created 60 en-suite bedrooms, a new reception area, lecture space for 120 with four additional break-out rooms and a restaurant. The design responds to the rural location, integrating the new buildings with their surroundings by applying a colour palette and textures taken from the landscape to all elements of the scheme.
