Designed by Santiago Calatrava architect for clients the Fordham Company. the building situated on 2.2 hectare site near the entrance to Navy Pier, will rise to an altitude of 1458 feet (115 stories) and about 2,000 feet at the tip of the spire, which will become the tallest building in the United States. Plans 920,000-square-foot structure includes a five-star hotel and 250 luxury condominiums. The design is based around the central core with each floor rotating 2 º from the bottom of the facade will give the impression of movement.
